Google indexing? What is it for?
Up to 40% of content is not indexed by google. What does this mean? It means that any article that is published but not indexed has no chance of appearing in organic search results. Publishing articles that do not make it into google’s index is simply buying content that does not fully benefit from an seo perspective.
Sites that are not indexed do not convey
“Link power,” which is the potential that a subpage can convey through links to gain rankings in google search results. Links placed on a site that is not in google’s index can still generate views, help build brand awareness, and even spark conversations. However, they do not convey any positive signal to the search engine about the linking domains.
The importance of indexed content is highlighted by our expert, steven khanna. You can watch the video below:
If you hover over the metric (or in the portal details window) you will see expanded statistics reflecting the percentage of indexed articles, in time intervals:

In response to this problem, the whitepress® development team has created its own system for checking the indexing of original articles. It is based on several methods of checking the availability of articles on google (used in parallel). Only when none of these methods work, whitepress assumes that the article is not visible on google.
All these functions are available in the advertiser panel after entering the paid articles section and clicking done.
The publication and indexing correction control system introduces two new filters:
New indexing filters
Filter publication status – allows you to view paid articles based on the publication status checked in the whitepress® dashboard. There are 4 possible publication statuses:
Not verified – if the post has not been verified for 3 months. The user has the option to have the article verified with this status.
Correct – the publication is correct. The user can request indexing of an article with this status.
Verified – the publication status is currently being verified by the whitepress® system.
Not available – the whitepress® system cannot verify the office 365 database correctness of the publication due to unavailability on the internet or errors in the publication.
Filter article indexing status – allows users to select one of the seven indexing statuses present on our platform:
Unknown – the whitepress® dashboard does not have any information about the article’s indexing. Indexing can be checked if the article has a valid publication status.
Verified – the system is currently checking the indexing status of the selected article.
Ok the page is indexed correctly
Indexing failed – the process of adding to the google index failed.

However, let’s take a step back, to the moment of ordering the publication fans data of articles. When selecting portals for publishing articles, you can use a new metric: “Publishing indexing”. The new seo filter allows you to view portals with selected parameters for the degree of article indexing.
The indexing of publications expresses as a percentage the indexing level of articles published in the last 12 months on the indicated portal.

In the portal tab, we can use the appropriate filter or permanently add a column with a new metric (it is not active by default).
